Ah, the body/mind connection. It's such a freaking nightmare, isn't it?

I worked at a travel agency in the corporate office which wasn't full of cruise brochures and happy newlywed-type clients looking at pictures of oceans and beachfront condos. Oh, no. Where I worked was full of cranky women with phones ringing in their ears all day talking to the secretaries of CEOs who needed to get THAT seat on THAT flight to THAT airport NOW. Oh, and upgrade the rental car and hotel room for his one night stay. Good god almighty.

Well, I had a newborn baby and was both proud of and terrified by this newfound career I was, albeit, good at. I kept it for three years before I realized the reason I kept vomiting was called the beginnings of an ulcer. At twenty-two years old. Quit the job, married a sweetheart, raised the kid to be a smartmouthed teenager (so far) and now the only thing my body tells me is that I need to get to SLEEP a little earlier.
